In this heartbreaking story,the author really tells us about what forgiving means.in this report,ill breakdown the story for you WITH ONE STORY AN EACH CHAPTER.

Glenn fielder is a victim of a stabbing that took place.it changed his life forever.he saw someone that get beat up and tried to help the person.however he got stabbed from behind.he went to the hospital.he was never able to play soccer againHashim Garrett was once apart of a gang;roaming the streets of Brooklyn.he was shot from the waist down when he was fifteen.When he was young, he was under lots of peer pressure.he did the things that his friends told him to do.he was trying to show that he had lots of heart on him.a kid shot him with a tech 9 with six bullets in him.He was paralyzed.He spent most of his years in a new york city hospital.he finally found out the reason why he was shot-his friends set him up because he stopped agreeing with them to do the dirty work. Jared's father,a veteran of the civil rights taught his to respect someone who was white or black.well,there is only one white kid in the whole school(Shawn).All of the black kids treated Shawn as an outcast because he symbolized all the things that they new about whites and there history.They took out all there anger on him and were very racist.Jared asked god for forgiveness and was never able to forgive Shawn.A man named david lived at the the that hitler was striking.David was only a kid when hitler struck.the nazis split up his parents.his mom went to a jail cell.
